What do you call your god(s)?

I am Christian and have always said "God" and "Jesus" but lately have realized people say different things (Yahweh, Jehovah, Father, etc.) What do YOU say and who are you referring to (what God, Jesus, other)?

  • Coffee.

Just kidding. I don't have a god. But don't forget there are those that have the Goddess!

  • There's God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. When referring to God, we also use Heavenly Father or Father in Heaven. When referring to Jesus, it's Jesus Christ, Christ, Jesus, or Jehovah, or the Son.

  • I'm sorry, anon. You're right. If you have a Goddess you would like to explain I would be interested in that as well.

  • No, amber, I don't, but I just wanted to add that in so those that have a non-Abrahamic religion would jump in for you too. :)

  • I like the coffee answer.

I don't believe in god/gods so naturally no names.

  • Uh, sorry, coffee is an abomination. I worship Coke. :O)

Like Kristi, I have no god(s), so no names.

Sorry, Coke is only a demi-god for me and I've been trying to weed that evil bastard out of my daily intakes. I've been doing okay. I drink it maybe once a week now and it's only the flat half-drank bottles my husband leaves in his jeep after a week of work.

  • I usually say the Divine and it encompasses both the male and female diety.
On here when answering the questions I sometimes say God/Goddess or Blessed Lord/Lady as well.
