can you get pregnant while on your period?

I know it may be a dumb question. I am just curious.

  • yes you can, lets say you have a short cycle this month (just cause mother nature wants to mess with you) lets say this cycle is 21 days long you could o on day 5 ( i got this off a box of o predictors) anyway sperm can live inside you for a couple of days so you can have sex and the egg can be fertilized a few days later. I have a friend who got preg. this way, she and her bf always used condoms except while she was having her period

  • Yes you can. It is uncommon but if your eggs drop early or late then you can. It is possible to get pregnant at any time of the month because sometimes your eggs get caught up or are released late and sperm can live up to 72 hours inside a women's body.
