Sooo, you all think that this is the end of civiliaztion as we know it??

It's HEALTH CARE REFORM. It's not like we started a preemptive war or something.

Did y'all start "stock piling your bunkers" when we went to war with Iraq? are y'all out raged at the cost financially and politically of this war on the future of our children?

Or is it just caring for cancer patients that freaks you out?

  • It will be awesome to see how things unravel over the next years to come. It will be so interesting to see the conservatives "predictions" come to fuition, or...not. So many just KNOW what's going to happen when the bill passes. I had no idea that so many conservatives could read crystal balls.

Cancer patients who don't have insurance now so cannot receive treatment likely will not survive long enough for this plan to help them, but the government will happily take a chunk of the proceeds when they sell their house in an attempt to pay for it.

False. One of the parts of the bill that go into effect IMMEDIATELY is the preexisting conditions legislation.

  • Here is a thought last year it was a takeover of the car companies we are now government motors.

This year is the takeover of the insurance companies we are now government owned healthcare.

What is it going to be next year? Is the government going to own your local grocery store? Your computer service? Your phone service?

What else do you want to give the government? Your children? your freedoms and rights?

You are on your way to do that already, so what are you giving up next?

No, it does not. You shouldn't give people false hope like that. Kids can get on medicaid, but that's always been true. Adults get NO benefit for 4 years.
