Do contaminants in food alter our childrens immune system?

The CCCF establishes and endorses permitted maximum levels for contaminants and naturally occurring toxicants in food and feed; prepares a priority list of contaminants and naturally occurring toxicants for risk assessment by the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives; considers methods of analysis and sampling for the determination of contaminants and naturally occurring toxicants in food and feed; considers and elaborates standards or codes of practice for related subjects; and considers other matters assigned to it by the Commission in relation to contaminants and naturally occurring toxicants in food and feed.

  • Yes, there are agencies that look at all of these things individually, but they never look at them synergistically, meaning looking at more than one chemical/toxin used on the same food source at the same time and how those multiple chemicals/toxins may react once combined, either on the food source itself or within the human body.

It is not one being exposed to any one chemical or toxin that is the problem, it is being exposed to many of them at the same time.

  • this may be simple, but, when i think of what i feed my family i think...what will the body do? the body wil break down the food and decide is this good for me, will it help me grow...or is this bad for me, does it need to be filtered and eliminated? if your body is bogged down eliminating toxins, then this leaves the rest of your body vulnerable...including your immune system.
to every action there is an equal and opposing reaction. it is just common sense.
