Does anyone know......????

Does anyone know how much our income taxes will be raised b/c of the health care plan? I've heard the tax rate will be 50% for those making under 250k and 65% for those make more than 250k/year is there any truth to that?

  • I believe that the income tax rate will be 50% of our income, but that is just based on speculation b/c of other countries that have socialized income tax at that rate, I think?

  • Your actual income tax won't go up, Medicare tax will go up for some people above a certain threshold. Where you can plan on being raped is when companies pass on THEIR higher taxes to you in the form of higher prices for pretty much everything you buy and use. And when your state and local taxes go up to make up for their shortfalls in having to provide medicaid for millions more people than the system is designed to handle in addition to the increase in food stamps, welfare and all the other expenses that will go up as more people lose jobs.
