  • You know what's weird? My oldest goes to a Catholic high school and her spring break was last week. My other kids go to public school and their break is next week! Weird huh? The oldest does have Thurs and Fri off next week too, but wouldn't it have been easier to have spring break next week? *shrugs* Eh, who knows what they were thinking?

  • Doesn't matter when Easter is. It is a Sunday anyways.
Spring break for most of the country was LAST week anyways.

  • My spring break was two weeks ago. It's SPRING break, not Easter break.

  • Because schools are afraid to acknowledge Easter.

  • BlooBird, then your school better acknowledge Oestara, too, which has been around a LOT longer than your easter.

  • Because spring break has nothing to do with Easter. My preschooler is off this week. My other kids go to a Catholic school and have off the week after Easter.

  • Because they no longer recognize holidays.Christmas break is "winter break" and Easter break has turned into "spring break" and technically speaking, it just turned spring over the weekend. I don't agree with it but it is what it is.

  • Yeah, its on a Sunday.. And she has to be at school the next day. My parents down live in the town we live in and their time is earlier than ours.. so we have to leave early their time. We like to get the whole family together and spend the whole day together. That is the BIG deal... Don't be rude..
