  • Ever see those creepy si-fi movies where the alien comes ripping through someone's abdominal wall? Imagine the pain of that, and there ya go!

Ok, in all seriousness, it feels like one hell of a period cramp! They usually start in the back, and wrap around to encompass your entire uterus.

  • Braxton Hicks contractions just feel like a tightening of the uterus - maybe a little painful. Labor contractions feel like period cramps times 100000!!

  • Agreed.....with the labor contractions it kinda feels like you are being squeezed to death from the inside. And you might even feel like you need to poop really bad

  • It feels like when you clench your stomach muscles to do a sit-up or something and hold it to the point of pain...but you have no control over it. It feels like if you could just relax those muscles, everything would feel fine...but you have no control over it.
