Marriage or couples counseling, insurance???

SO and I are not married, his insurance covers marriage/couples counseling.

Can we go as a couple even though we are not married? (I am not on his insurance policy)

  • No one on here couple possibly know the details of your SO's insurance policy. He needs to call them and find out if it's covered or not. It may also help if he says it's "premarital" counseling as a lot of family therapists recommend having a few sessions before marriage. Good luck, hope your covered.
