  • Special Education classes are for those with learning disabilities. It can be anything from Speech issues to Physical Issues. My son has Down's and is in Special Ed classes. The resource classes are additional help, and are in addition to the regular classes but its for those who don't need that much more help. For those who need more help they go to CDC classes. There are some schools who have behavioral problem kids in Special Ed classes also. Hope that helps.

  • Special Education is for students that need some extra attention. They might be dyslexic or have any number of other learning disabilities. In my high school, they also would send the trouble makers there....not to discipline them, but to help them with more of a 1 on 1 teaching environment. I don't know about the other one. Google it.
