Just kidding. I think the only free transport is the train at Excalibur but it only goes a little ways. You may need to cab it. Some parts of the strip you can totally walk. Treasure Island's ship sinking, Bellagio's light light and water show and just walking throught The Wynn are free and cool. Expect to be up late, drink a lot and love it. Might be worth seeing a show if you have the funds. Cirque du soleil really is cool. Go to the top ot The Hotel for a good view and drink.

  • transportation - SO many things in walking distance of each other, you can also hop free shuttles that go from casino to casino on the strip and can drop you off pretty close to your destination. It's faster than trying to drive or catch a cab, for sure!
attractions - I really just love wandering the strip and watching all the people, each casino has cool restaurants and attractions - for example, the MGM has the lions, Treasure Island has a pirate show out front, New York, New York has a roller coaster on top of it, the Venetian has an art museum and the coolest wax museum EVER. The Bellagio has the fountain shows, Ceasar's and The Wynn both have awesome shops (terribly expensive stores, but fun to window-shop!) Mandalay Bay has a sweet aquarium called the Shark Reef. The shows out front are free, most of the other things are reasonable :)
There is literally so much to do, trust me, you won't find a moment of boredom!

  • You can get all day monorail passes:

Here are some great ideas for things to do: (Cloud 9 just got destroyed in a windstorm).

My suggestions would be to visit Bellagio and see the conservatory and fountains.  Eat at the buffet at Treasure Island and see the pirate show.  If you want to see a show, see Rita Rudner at Harrah's, Penn & Teller at Rio, or Phantom at Venetian.  And if you go off strip, eat dinner at Nora's on the corner of Flamingo and Jones and check out Red Rock Canyon.
