The nice way - call, tell them you just cannot afford it, you want it turned off, but can't afford the term. fee, can they please cancel it and waive the fee.
The bad way - stop paying the bill, let them shut if off. We had to do it that way with our basic cable, we'd paid a deposit though that more than covered our last month's bill so they ended up about $25 ahead.
