pregnancy ultrasound

since ultrasounds go by lmp which usually adds 2 weeks and not by actual conception, if i had an ultrasound done and it said i was 8 weeks going by lmp, then if i was 8 weeks 6 days prego dating from conception, would this have shown 10 weeks 6 days?? VERY CONFUSING...i had sex on sep 11. i had my period on sep 17. an ultrasound on nov 11 said 8 weeks lmp. if i had gotten pregnant on sep 11, would this have shown 10 weeks 6 days on the ultrasound, or 8 weeks 6 days? its hard to explain!!!! crl of 15mm at eight weeks. would crl be much of a difference at 8w6 days since the fetus is 22mm at 9 weeks???if noone answers i def. understand!!! ITS TOO CONFUSING TO UNDERSTAND OR TYPE!!!!

  • If the ultrasound said 8 weeks from LMP, that's based on you telling them that your last period was on Sept. 17, which means you would have conceived around the first of October. If the ultrasound measurement was way off from your LMP estimates, they would have changed your due date accordingly. If they left it as the LMP estimate, then you conceived after your period, not on Sept. 11.
