What exactly does the Healthcare bill do....

for someone who doesn't have Insurance through their employer, and can't affordto pay for it themselves? I have health issues, but it's actually cheaper to go to the doc and pay out of pocket than it is to pay for Insurance every month, even though it still costs a lot

  • It forces you to buy health care or be fined. One good thing about it is you cannot be denied because of your condition.

  • It requires that you carry insurance whether you need or want it or not... I'm like you. I see no point in insurance. It's a crock! As is this bill!

  • You will be forced to pay for insurance. However, that will not happen until 2014. Obama may be out of office by then and the next president may recind or change the health care bill. Even though this bill was signed into law, it is not a done deal yet, so we have to wait and see how it plays out.
