  • No.. not at all.... Formula is so nasty! Breastmilk is said to be sweet like the milk left in your cereal bowl...
Breastmilk babies have sweet "angelic" breath! And their spit up is not as bad (dd only spit up twice, and it was only when my bff was holding her. lol) Their poop isnt that stinky either..
Formula spit up is GOSH AWFUL- gag-... and stinky poos.
Breastfed babies poop less. alot less.. because there is alot of "waste/ junk" in formula, but most of breastmilk actually gets digested & used ...

  • Not even close.

  • My first one is not BF but my youngest is. In the name of science I had put my self through the test and I think that Enfamil comes close. But for some reason reason Similac sells the most and is much expensive than Enfamil. It's been a long time since I had purchased formula so I don't know if there are more brands on the market.

  • No, they are not. They also smell differently and produce completely different bowel movements.

  • no

  • NO. Not even close in taste. Breastmilk will taste different depending on what mom eats, but in general the breast milk is sweeter.

  • Based on the smell alone, I would guess no.

Answer by khedy at 9:47 AM on Mar. 25, 2010

  • Since they smell totally different, I would say they probably don't taste the same.

Answer by preacherskid at 9:57 AM on Mar. 25, 2010

  • Absolutely not.

  • No. That's not a million dollar question. Most moms know they don't taste anything alike. They also smell very different.
