Will the CBO review the bill again?

I am curious about opinions on this matter. The bill has already been reviewed and the amendments have been reviewed. Democrats purposely lowered the medicare payout and added things that had nothing to do with health care into this bill to reflect savings over time. After the amendment bill is passed and they come up with the Dr. fix, will the whole shebang be sent back to CBO to be reviewed and priced as a complete package? It's criminal to break this into parts and then try to sell it to the people with a price tag that doesn't reflect the whole bill.

It's criminal for either side to do this and I am not condoning any other bill or leglislation passed by a majority ever. If this is the direction of your comment, save it.

  • The senate parliamentarian kicked the amendment bill back to the house, so they will review it again, but it will probably be a while. The house cheated and they have to take out some of the Pell grant changes they put in because they were against the rules. Now the house has to amend it and approve it all over again (and it's always a chance someone will try to add more to it since they have the opportunity). After that it goes back to the senate again to get approval there, if it passes.

  • They have to because they never finished reviewing it in the first place. They can't really give an estimate without the whole package decided on.
