  • Can anyone just answer a simple question without inserting their personal political agendas?

The figure I found was 1.05 trillion dollars. However, numbers can be skewed in many directions. So, this could be accurate or it could be way off. We will probably never know the true monetary costs due to miscalculating the dollar amount of the fall out .

  • Are you asking about money, or in lives of American Soldiers lost? I think the later is far more valuable.

  • NP where is your figure for what Obama has cost us? I am curious to see the side by side comparison because you say it is 1/3.

  • There is no such thing as a free lunch, and there is no such thing as a free war. The Iraq adventure has seriously weakened the U.S. economy, whose woes now go far beyond loose mortgage lending. You can't spend $3 trillion -- yes, $3 trillion -- on a failed war abroad and not feel the pain at home.

  • You mean that war that all of the democrats (the same one's in there now) voted for too? Pesky things facts can be.

  • Bullshit the war didn't weaken the economy. Millions of american idiots and companies spending more than they can afford and borrowing money they can't pay back ruined the economy.
