Racial Incident? Or are Democrats Making it up?

A protester has his hands cupped around his mouth to yell something and it looks like some spittle hits Cleaver, who later accused the guy, of having “allowed his saliva to hit my face.” Is this racial incident worthy of national headlines capped by a congressional press release noting that the spitter/spittler had been arrested? Except that he wasn’t: He was briefly detained and then let go. This was supposedly also around the time that tea partiers were shouting racial slurs at Cleaver, John Lewis, and other black congressmen. Listen closely and you---------- won’t hear any racial slurs.

  • Maybe a little of both, maybe neither. It's all he said, she said, just depends on who's doing the talking and whose doing the listening. We all know that guilt comes before innocence these days.

  • Who knows.I saw the clips out on the web too and listened closely and never heard any racial slurs.I have to imagine that if the left msm had any proof at all they'd be playing the clips relentlessly day in and out.So yeah thus far it has been nothing but hearsay eventhough msm has been touting it as an absolute fact.Anyway, sure there are racist people but imo this is just another attempt to bulk all tea party people together, label them racist and discredit the movement. It isn't the first attempt will hardly be the last.

  • Completely fabricated. AND they set it up beforehand. WHY would they be walking in a PACK with that ridiculously HUGE gavel, laughing and joking, THROUGH a tight wad of protesters, if they didn't want to start something? When they DIDN"T get what THEIR OWN PEOPLE usually dish out, they went to Pelosi-plan B, which is make it all up. Remember, she accused demonstrators during the pres. compaign of holding signs with swastikas but could produce video.

There's a talk show host out there (not Limbaugh) offering $10,000 for the UNCF (United Negro College Fund) if Lewis can produce convincing video, and if he can't, and passes a polygraph, he'll give them the money anyway. Haha!

NOPE. They're just using African-American people for political gain, again. When will they (AF.-Am. people) get tired of it? Who knows.

If Cleaver doesn't want these incidents to happen, then Cleaver should stay away from crowds.  Just like if Reid doesn't like the smell of tourists, he should get a job where he doesn't have to deal with them.  The arrogance astounds.

  • The only part that makes me suspicious and the people who were victimized are remaining silent not doing interviews. None, on any network. It's serious allegation and not one of the congressmen are speaking out to tell the story. There's no proof it happened, no proof it didn't. The behavior of the victims is odd though. These are politicians who love the limelight.
