need a good kid friendly side dish for meatloaf..

i need ideas ladies....meat loaf....hmmmm...a side dish....see i need help.

  • Peas, steamed broccoli and cauliflower with cheese on top, mashed potatoes, salad, mac n cheese... Those are all of our favorites with meatloaf.

  • I just made meatloaf the other night w/ homemade mashed potatoes, homemade macn cheese, green beans and a salad.

  • I also like mashed potatoes with meatloaf, but sometimes to switch it up I do Cheesy Hashbrown Casserole, kids of all ages love it!!

  • Oh, and to make the meatloaf itself more kid-friendly try making meatloaf meatballs. I did this last time and the kids didn't realize it was meatloaf! I just balled the meatloaf up, cooked it on the broiler pan, and then added sauce on top.

  • Mashed potatoes, mac and cheese or buttered noodles. My son likes meatloaf meatballs with gravy and mashed potaotes or rice.
