  • That's what my husband is for? I don't understand...its a true statement, why take offense? No need to defend, I would just assume the person that is saying that doesn't have the choice to stay home.

  • I didn't get pregnant by myself ya know, and someone has to be here for the kid/kids....Plus daycare is very expensive.

  • Yeah but my time with the child is worth more than any job. I'm sorry that you sell yourself so cheap, my time i worth more than anyone could pay me. Something to that effect.

  • It depends on who said it, and how they said it. Did they say it wistfully, wishing they could stay home but need to work to provide for their family? Or did they say it snotty as in I'm better than you?
