I was wondering if there's any nail polish out there that is safe to put on babies hands and feet...since she puts her hands and feet in her mouth. If anyone knows anyhting, let me know, thanks! I appreciate it!

  • I've done daycare for over 25 years and I see children wearing nail polish of all ages. I'd be much more concerned about the quality of toys and the toxins in the paints than the small amount of nail polish on a teeny tiny nail.

  • Formaldehyde is a problem in nail polish. That is why you are supposed to use nail polish outside when you are pregnant. It's something you inhale. I'm allergic to formaldehyde and have formaldehyde-free polish. There are other chemicals that are bad to inhale.
