  • Don't agree. This assumes that everyone has faith, or wants faith. Atheists have hopes, but they do not have faith. I have hope, as a Pagan, but I don't base these hopes on my faith either.

  • No it's actually talking about any kind of faith even atheists have faith. It can even be applied to faith in your marriage. Just for clarification.

  • I am an atheist, so, evidently, I have found faith to be blind and of no use, while hopes can impel us forward into the future and inspire us to work for what we get, rather than sit on our backsides waiting for faith to work. Hope acts as a beacon of light whereas faith cannot even turn the lights ON.
