How can a child become a picky eater unexpectedly?

My toddler is turning 2 and all of a sudden he won't his fruit neither his vegetables. It's being going on for about 3 weeks. I'm still nursing. Should I be worried? I don't know what to think.

  • It's a stage they go through, trying to assert their independance. Try not to make a big deal out of it but keeping offering fruits/veggies...keep putting them on his plate. Serve them a little differently...cut them different, put dipping sauce with them, etc.
