  • I don't give a flying fuck who spit on who. Spitting someone is a HUGE insult, but it's not assault! If this was anyone but a congressman or a celebrity no one would care and tell him to get the hell over it.

  • Um, actually Ati... I disagree with you. Since the coming of Aids into our society, it is considered assault. You cannot spit on anyone these days. Police especially use this. It's also used in prisons. YOU CANNOT SPIT ON ANYONE. It is assault- can be used with a deadly weapon if that person is sick.

    Sorry... Ati... you are wrong.

  • It actually could be assault, if the spitter has a contagious disease, and the spit landed somewhere like the eyes, or open wounds.

  • Anon, HIV is not transmissible through saliva, only through blood, semen, vaginal secretions and breastmilk.

  • Spitting on somebody is assault. I was told that by a former Detroit police officer. It IS assault. I didn't see anybody spit at anyone on this video though. Yes, it is entirely possible that some spit came out while that guy was yelling, which is totally different. One of my bosses spits when she talks and other coworkers say she even blows bubbles. But that isn't assault.
