  • After my first 2 babies, I started a regular period like clockwork just 6 weeks after delivery and I breastfed. I also got pregnant while BFing too. I'm now BFing my 3rd baby and more than 3 months PP I still haven't had a period. Some women have regular periods while BFing, some have some spotting, and some have no periods until months after weaning. All can be quite normal.

  • There is a whole range of what's "normal". Some women never get a period til they wean, and others get it back right away.

  • If you are still nursing then it is very possible that you will not get a period for a VERY long time or you could get one tomorrow. With both my children I did not get my period until about 15 months old and they were both still nursing at the time.
