business casual question ...

my DH has a call back for a job at an airline as a reservation agent. He was told to come "business casual". He's become quite bald and is TERRIBLY self conscience... can he wear a ball cap to business casual? Ball cap = a solid color, brand new, no logos, not offensive cocked or crooked, etc. We're talking about being completely 100% awkward and un-confidant without it here. Other than that he'll be in dress shoes/socks, a lovely polo and khaki's w/ a belt.

  • no cap and he needs a jacket. polo's are not business casual. my suggestion.....
a navy suit jacket or sport coat that FITS and khaki pants, shoes match the belt.
even if it is business casual ALWAYS dress one rung up than the position he has been awarded. GL

  • I think business casual = no ball cap, no matter how nice & new.

  • A plain baseball cap doesn't qualify as business casual. If he wants the job bad enough, he will overcome his insecurity temporarily.

  • No cap. That would be very unproffesional.

  • No head coverings, unless they are for religious reasons.
