and I wanted to know what is the best thing to drink before to help the baby be active but not too active? Coffee, tea, pop, or orange juice? Or maybe something else?

  • i would just drink plenty of water leading up to it to be sure you have plenty of fluid, well i'd do that throughout pregnancy actually. :) baby could be active but still hiding his or her gender, if that's what you are wondering about. or s/he could be really still but exposed.

    good luck!!!!

  • Water. All of the other things you mentioned have a ton of sugar/caffeine. Drink about 32 oz of water about an hour before the appointment and do NOT go to the bathroom.

  • Actually they prefer you to drink water and yes do not go to the bathroom. It helps them if your bladder is full. And they really aren't going to want them to be highly active. It makes it hard for them to get their measurements.
