Ab workouts that don't hurt your neck or back?

I have a pilates ball so any I can do on that would be great.

  • those are fun, i got a workout ball but i dont really work out on it just play on it lol i cant sit still so i sometimes sit on the ball and just bounce...and dont take that in a perverted way lol. i found the best ab work outs that dont strain the back or neck is actually belly dancing they have vids on youtube

    thats the full work out and its a LOT of fun and its really easy and you def feel it in your abs the next day

    and you may be able to find ball workouts on there also

  • Check out Exercise TV. They are currently running a standing Ab work out on "on demand" in my area. Its great and doesn't hurt my back or neck at all.

  • i also like belly dancing, it's not hard to do at the time but your abs definately feel it later. I also do yoga booty ballet, hip hop abs. they do a big dance style routine and then the last 10 minutes or so is laying on the floor stuff. The floor stuff isn't real hard and it doesn't hurt, i usually have the same problem with my back and neck hurting. And if the floor stuff is to much for you, then do the rest without the floor stuff. Good luck.
