what did u do?

MyDD is having her 1st bday party, she dont know how to blow yet, so i had planned on blowing out her candle for her, well my MIL thinks i shouldnt do that, that if she cant blow out a candle we shouldnt light one, so i just wanna know what would you do or what did u do?

  • Light it and tell MIL to bite you. She is only 1 once. Have her practice blowing out a match beforehand. Light and say blow it out.

  • I think you should do what you want, and celebrate special occasions the way you and your immediate family are happy to. ;) It's getting nice out, take her outside and practice blowing with bubbles. :)

  • I think everyone blows out the candle for the kid for the first birthday. Your MIL needs to relax. (as most do, ha ha)

  • We lit one and let the older kids (my nieces and nephews) gather around and help him blow them out.
