Teething..

My Daughter is 6 months old and just started teething. She bites and sucks on her bottom lip and its purple! I don't know how to stop her from doing it.. I give her teethers but she doesn't like them. Any ideas or anyone else have their baby do this?

  • I agree. I'd just wet a clean cloth put in in the freezer and bam instant teether that forms to the gums. You can also try frozen fruits and veggies just watch and make sure they don't choke.

But whatever you do DO NOT use the teething gel. It may help for a few minutes but there's a compound in it that actually hardens the gums a little bit so once it wears off it hurts even more.
