How are they any different ? Right Wing Terrorism!

Homegrown terrorism found in right-wing hate speech. The arrests of members of a Michigan based "Christian" militia group should convince doubters that there is good reason to worry about right wing anti gov extremism! Should we worry??

  • I equate the anger felt (not inclding the nuts from Michigan) now with another extremist group from the past. Those traitors otherwise known as the founding fathers.

I'm willing to bet those nut cases in Michigan would say the exact same thing. Other then the fact that they acted, what is the difference between you and them? I hear talk on here all the time about a civil war is going to start and "we" are going to take this country back. What's the difference?

  • Probably no more than we need to worry about the left wing extremists.

  • Yes we should worry. Anti gov hate speech that is spewed on talk radio everyday and at tea party rallies is put out there not to inform but to incite. We should also remember the worst act of domestic terrorism ever committed in this country was from a member of the government hating right wing: Timothy McVeigh!

  • We should worry about right wing extremism, yes. But also left-wing extremism. And anyone in a position of power including our government. Anyone with enough money to buy our government. And they do.....Corporations....yep, we should worry about them all, because they are all after the same thing....power and more money...

  • Yes. Right wingers are all for gun rights and then you have Sarah Palin telling the people at TEA party rallies to "Reload". Their leaders are telling them their gov is illegitimate, their country is being "taken away" that their elected officials are traitors and their freedom is at risk, so a lot of the listeners are taking this literally and are willing to fight and kill for their cause! Scary very scary.

  • Yes, right wingers, conservatives and Independents are all for gun rights.....wanna know why....BECAUSE IT IS OUR CONSTITUTION FREEDOM to do so. So Anony stop trying to spread more hate with your trying to link gun owners and domestic terrorism!

  • Yes, we should worry, just like we should worry about any person or group of people who wishes to harm someone. It's not exclusively right-wing extremists that are worrisome.

  • Someone please explain to me the dozens of anti-government left-wing G20 protestors arrested in Pittsburgh in September. What type of media coverage did you see?

Yes, this is serious. However, what is also criminal is how the mainstream media manipulates its viewers by downplaying left-wing violence and ratcheting up the volume on right-wing extremists and trying to tie them to a peaceful movement.
