Why doesn't The US Government build a wall between the borders?

Theft, robbery, vandalism and drug smuggling have always been part of illegal immigration in Cochise County, but murder is not something the cattle ranchers along the Arizona-Mexico border expected to happen to Robert Krentz.

Police say Krentz, whose family has been ranching in southern Arizona since 1907, was gunned down early Saturday morning by an illegal immigrant while out on his ATV tending to fences and water lines on the family's 34,000-acre cattle ranch.

  • I have wondered why we can't/don't/won't do more to stop this. It makes me think that the gov't doesn't mind if they come over. What really bothers me, though, is that the wife of this farmer wrote to Congress (I think, might have been the Senate, but she did write to someone in DC) about this problem in 2007! She was afraid of what might happen to her or to her family THEN!!

  • Because the current government officials want to unite with Canada and Mexico to create the North American Union. The USA would no longer exist...

  • have to agree with anon. More enforcement of laws along the border instead of putting border patrols in prison for doing their job.

  • This is advice for the smart party who can't even keep drugs out of maximum security prisons?

When they figure out a way of stopping people and object trafficking in and out of a YARD, maybe they can work on stopping it in and out of a whole country. In the meantime, I expect them to continue behaving as the fascists they've always really been.

Checkpoint Charlie, Berlin Wall, coming soon to a US border near you...
