I cooked my ham that is almost 12 pounds at 325-350 from 12:30 till 3:15. The packaging said 25 minutes for every pound.

Is that timing good enough?

  • No, 25 minutes per pound would be 300 minutes, or 5 hours.

  • Put it back in and cook it till at least 5:45-6:00 it's 3:50 my time. You will get really sick if you eat it.

  • Ugh, you won't get sick, it just won't be heated through - unless it was a raw ham which is a rare thing. Most hams are fully cooked, you're just heating them through. Next time use a thermometer and "cook" it til the temp is right in the middle.
