  • I boil them for five minutes with a rapid boil then put a lid on them, remove them from the heat and let the hot water cook them through.

  • No! Here's the best way I've ever learned. It keeps the yolks yellow instead of brown/gray on the outside!

  • easist way to check is pull them out and see if the water evaporates off of the egg in less than 2 seconds.

  • I actually just found out that the BEST way to boil eggs is to bring the water to a rolling boil, then reduce the heat(if not shut it off completely) and add the eggs to the water for 15 minutes.

If you want to check to see if they are done, the way I do it....spin it. If it spins fast and in circles, it's done. If it's not done, it wobbles. SERIOUS!!! Try it! Do one that you just get outta the fridge, then one you've cooked.

  • I always do Martha's trick.

Cover eggs with cold water, bring to a boil, once the water starts boiling cover and take off the heat. Let sit in water for another 13 mins, rinse in cold water before dying.
