When I go to the docs...should i ask about clomid

ok...i had a miscarriage in july of 08..nothing has happend in 09 and this year in july will make 2 years that nothing has happend. i do have irregular aunt flows. But i'm wanting to know when i go should i ask about clomid? And if anyone has taken Clomid, how soon was it after that you found out that you were PG?

  • Go in and visit with your doctor. Talk about everything - not just Clomid (it's used a lot, but it isn't the right answer for everyone). Tell your doctor what your experience has been, what your concerns are, and what your goal is. Ask what all options might be provided by this doctor (Clomid, IUI, etc.), and ask at what point you will be referred to a specialist if you don't get pregnant. At a minimum, the doctor will want to run some blood tests before prescribing anything or starting any type of treatment. I expect your doctor will bring up the topic of Clomid whether you mention it or not, but they may want to get your test results before they go into too much detail.  GL!
