  • yup-as I get older. I called my brother the other day- he called the next-returned- and I couldn't remember why I called him. I didn't even remember placing the call. good thing he has an answering machine, he listen to what i was asking him. Now thats forgetting

  • I am truely forgetful! I am on a time released narcotic patch that I use to control pain due to a neuro/muscular disease. I forget some pretty important stuff like what day it is, I especially lose track of time. I forget or mix up errands I am doing for the day. I forget my medication on a regular basis. The only thing that reminds me I didn't take my meds is crushing pain or marked depression or anxiety.(pain meds are not the only medication I am on)

Now get this, my husband had a stroke 3 years ago and along with several other left over stroke symptoms is sever forgetfullness and confusion. At times he forgets how to get to familiar places, recently he miss placed and found his keys 6 times in day.
The two of us have great patients with eachother.
