  • I've never done anything other than boil it and then fry it in a pan like I do hot dogs. We eat it with buttered noodles for dinner, or with scrambled eggs for breakfast.

  • We do saurerkraut and keilbasi. But I like to cook it all day.
    1 bag sauerkrat
keilbasi, cut into slices...however thick you want,I like mine about an inch
Potatoes, peeled and cut into small to medium chunks
1 medium sized onion, cut up into slices, again whatever size you want
salt, pepper, garlic powder(or 1/2 clove fresh garlic all cut up)
    caraway seed
Set oven to about 300 degrees

Put all ingrediants into a large caserole dish or a baking pan,mix up put into oven...leave it in for a couple hours then transfer everything into a crockpot, set on low for the rest of the day until it is time for dinner..delicious! :)

  • I cut it up and make hashbrown casseroles with it. Sooo yummy! I also make jumbalaya with keilbasa, chicken and shrimp. I love keilbasa, but I usually put it in something rather than serve it alone. However my mom will grill steaks and grill the keilbasa too, gives it like a sweet smoky flavor, that's really good, too!
