What can I do to boost my metabolism?

The doc told me I barely had any. Please advise.

  • eat more often! I know it sounds crazy but eat healthy small meals 5-6 times a day.

  • mommaplaybass is right!! small HEALTHY mean 4-6 times a day is a great way to speed it up. Also, try a little spice (like peppers or spicy herbs) in your diet.. that also helps somehow.

  • Cinnamon is also good for you metabolism.
    Make sure you are drinking plenty of water.
    I also agree with eating small meals.
    Get your body moving.

  • Small meals frequently throughout the day (5-6 times a day).

    Work out. Hard enough to elevate your metabolism even after your workout is over and hard enough to build some muscle mass. Interval training is great for keeping the metabolism revved, but you have to already be at a certain level of fitness in order for it to be safe to do. Weight training helps to build muscle and more muscle mass increases your metabolism.
