Amniotic Fluid

Is it true that if a mother has low amniotic fluid they can drink fluids and it will help replenish it?! I thought that the baby and the other were pretty much two different entities and that the mothers body wouldn't take from the baby like that...?

  • Low fluid can be caused by a ton of things. Dehydration of the mother will eventually lead to dehydration in the baby. If you have low fluid, you are totally moving in the right direction by making sure you are properly hydrated. But the root cause of the low fluid is really the issue.
