Have you read "Created to be his helpmeet"? What did you think of it?

Just curious. :)

  • I have read it. You just need to read it with a grain of salt. I really didn't like her approach... it was almost as if she was inferior to her husband. She DOES have good lessons, but she goes so far as being a wife means being less than her husband and wield to him in all things. Which isn't being a helpmeet, but a door mat. Its interesting, and I am a Christian who believe that yes a woman is her husbands help meet... but not his door mat.

  • Because a help meet is a partner.

  • Well maybe according to you. But to me a help meet just seems like someone who is not equal to their spouse and I am equal so I am not a help meet.
