little bumps all over my two month olds body?

My baby boy had little tiny bumps all over and i cant figure out what they are from, is it something that babies get all the time or is he allergic to something? I use non scented detergent and fabric softener on all his cloths and he gets a bath everyday. What could it be?

  • Fabric softener could be the culprit or It could also be form over bathing since baby skin is still really soft and not used to being washed with soap daily. try alternating every other day with a bath and just a wipe down with wipes. Also have you switched formulas brands or gone from BF to FF, if that's the case it could be something in the formula or something you ate if you recently changed your diet. If none of that clears it up then you should consult you pediatrician.

  • Little tiny bumps all over the body is usually a food allergy. Is he on formula? Contact allergies, like to soap or detergent, will be concentrated in the areas of contact.
