Do you think kids that drink soda for dinner get bad or low grades?

  • I rarely let my son have soda for dinner.
    When I was a kid we were a soda pop kind of family, always had the glass bottles of pepsi in our house,lol. I was a straight A honor roll student. So...yeah..thats all I got on this question here,lol.

  • One has nothing to do with the other. Some kids get bad grades in school because their PARENTS don't care and do nothing to help them.

  • If they are drinking a lot of caffeine that interferes with their sleep, I can see how it would. Children who are tired tend to do worse in school. I can see where it would maybe be a factor, but there would probably be other issues involved as well.

  • Um.. no. But having soda all the time isn't the best thing. This is why americans have obesity problems, because we think it's okay to have things like soda at dinner and such. It's an old adage but good habbits DO start early. Plus bad foods make you feel crappy. The healthier the foods the healthier you'll be.
