I want grilled cheese but

I apparently have become very sensitive to ALL dairy products this pregnancy. :( I can't even drink a small glass of milk or have a little cheese. It really sucks. Everything I like has dairy in it. What the heck can I eat? I am sick of this already!
I hope it goes away after baby comes but I still am stuck rigth now clueless on what to pick to eat. Everything we have calls for dairy products or already has it in there :(
Tips?

  • Have you tried a dairy free vegan cheese? Or is it simply the idea of cheese that makes you sick?

  • Not the idea of it no, When I eat dairy I get painful gas and the runs :(
    Dr said it could be lactose intolerance brought on by pregnancy and the changes in my body.
    I can try that tho

  • Talk to your doc about maybe taking Lactaid or something similar before you eat a dairy product. I don't know if you can actually take it while pregnant or not.

    Also, I would check into the dairy free milks and cheeses. My grandmother is violently lactose intolerant and is able to eat those without any problem.
