Did any other mothers pump before there baby was born? Out of curiousity?

  • Nope....You do enough pumping after the kids comes out!

  • Why would you? The most you'll do is put yourself into labor because of the stimulation. It's not a good idea. You don't have milk til a few days after baby's born, you don't need to store the colostrum ahead of time because what baby gets those first few days is enough. Just don't do it.

  • No, and you shouldn't either. Bad idea. Pumping can put you into labor and there's no reason to store colostrum like PP stated.
