I couldn't beleive it!!

I work at a resturant and tonight around 8pm these people come in with a baby who looked to be about 2 or 3. At first I thought the kids face looked weird, but I didn't pay that much attention. Then I looked at him and the kid was COVERED in festering oozing chicken pox!! We were all like wtf?? Why would you bring your child out like that? Serisouly the sores were open and oozing stuff. It was gross. Not to mention dangerous to other people. And while the mom was standing there placing their order she started scratching his spots for him. We actaully had a few people come up and ask for to go bags because htey didn't want to stay in the resturant with them. We were all in the back flipping coins to decide who ahd to go take their food to them ebcause none of us wanted to go anywhere near them! Really... who does this??

  • Well, if you've had your vaccine or had chicken pox before you had nothing to worry about. Maybe it wasn't chicken pox and he had a condition..

  • I had the chicken pox as an adult and it was AWFUL! (hosptialized kinda awful!!) I would NEVER do that to another person if my kids had the Chicken Pox.

As the other said, maybe it wasn't chicken pox. Was any one brave enough to ask?

The image of this, in a resturant, makes me want to barf!

  • People aren't getting vaccines anymore as they are afraid of autism. Get used of it, you will probably start seeing a lot more of this type of stuff. Poor kid.

  • Unless your rubbing up against this kid you have nothing to worry about, it isn't airborne.

  • Could it have been severe eczema? Eczema can definitely ooze and bleed. Poor baby. It wasn't his fault. It was bad choices on mommy's part!

  • Um...that is nasty! If your child is that sick, keep them home!
And who says vaccines cause autism? They save lives!
You wanna know what causes autism? All the additives and
crap they are putting into foods these days. All the preservatives
and artificial flavorings and colorings...THAT is what is causing
autism. NOT VACCINES. Sorry I know this is a bit off the subject
but I cannot understand how people can say vaccines cause way. Why anyone would not want to protect their
child from deadly diseases (and yes, chicken pox can be deadly)
is beyond me. My mom has 15 siblings, out of all of them, she
was the only one who contracted polio because she didn't get
vaccinated. And even if you DO get vaccinated against chicken
pox, you can still get them. I did. So, if a child is that sick, they
shouldn't be out and about. The parents should have kept him
inside & gotten pizza or something else
