why is my ten month old pooping 4 times a day, is that bad?

  • It's normal for some kids. Has your 10-month-old started eating more solids recently? Their systems take a while to get used to the solids, so that could create a temporary increase in bowel movements.

  • My almost 4 year old still poops 3 times a day on average!! I think every child is different and as long as your doc thinks it ok I wouldn't worry. ;o)

  • my 12 month old has been on solids since about 7 months and he poops usually 5 times a day. And the doctors said that's fine.
