wierd food. . .

What is the strangest thing you have eaten to get by at the end of the month, when there is not much food left? When I was single and had no kids, mine was mayo with tortilla chips.

  • What we call a 'Tray' which is an assortment of whatever you can fine. hot dog w/ no bun, Mac and cheese, an orange, leftover meat loaf frozen peas...Every one has something different because there is just a little of everything!

  • Cream of chicken soup and spaghetti noodles. Not so bad actually! add some chicken, and some seasoning, and you got a good meal!

  • luckily we are a hunting family so no matter how little food we have, we always have burger. lol. When DH was a bachelor he used to eat saltines with 1000 Island dressing and cheddar cheese. He still does sometimes. YUCK.

  • fried bread . bread with mayo . baked potatoes for supper. Canned fruit for breakfast, canned vegetables for supper. The worst was going without.
