Good Ideas for Age Appropriate Egg Treats?

I belong to a Mommy Group and tommorow we will be having an Easter Egg Hunt for our LOs. All the children will be between 18 months and 2 years old. I am suppose to bring 2 dozen plastic eggs filled with treats. I don't want to bring candy but any actual toys that fit in the eggs would be choking hazards for this age range. So what else can I put in them?

  • The directions say specifically plastic eggs, otherwise I would have done colored eggs that kids could have exchanged for larger size toys (ie stuffed animals or bigger bouncy balls).

  • At my son's daycare they put animal cookies and pretzels and goldfish snacks in the eggs. My son loves them and he is 15 months old
