is drinking half gallon of water over a 3 day period too much?

lately i've been drinking a half gal of water at least every 3 days, I also am a very heavy soda drinker(one liter and a half per day). Is this too much or too little water? I'm constantly thirsty

  • Actually, you're supposed to drink a half gallon of water daily. A half gallon over three days puts you too low. And 49 ounces of soda a day (the approximate equivalent of your intake) is NOT a good substitute. It will make you more thirsty and if you're drinking that much in sugared soda you could be putting yourself at risk for diabetes.

Up the water, drop the soda, OK?
