Anti-Government Militia was active in voting for government. Were they really right wing Extremists? Or just all-around extremist nut-bags?

Most of the indicted militia members accused of being anti-government extremists have active voting records, a check with area voter registration offices showed yesterday.

One is a registered Democrat, and the party affiliations of the rest could not be determined.

Jacob J. Ward, 33, of Huron, Ohio, voted as a Democrat in the 2004 and 2008 primary elections. He also voted in 10 other elections since 2000. Party affiliation in Ohio is determined by which party's ballot they requested in the most recent primary election.

Alleged ringleader David Brian Stone, Sr., 45, of Clayton, Mich., registered in Lenawee County, Michigan, in 1998, and last voted in the 2004 general election.

  • I'll be honest...when I first heard of them, I did automatically think "OMG right wing crazies!" but after hearing more about them, it's obvious that they're just mentally insane all the way around. I'm so glad they were caught before they hurt someone.

So what you trying to pin this group to Democrats now!

They were all ultra conservative" Christians" so I would call that right wing.. You all think of anyway to turn it around, too funny.

Well, there ya go, grly, it is obvious they are right wing nut cases, and you're just trying to stir the pot by mentioning that some of them are proven Democrat-affiliated. That is so obviously a ploy to throw everyone off, they aren't REALLY D's. We all know that the D's would NEVER in a MILLION YEARS do anything of that nature. ALLL the crazies MUST belong to the pubs, you know, birds of a feather and all that.....

imo they are just a bit off in the head, clearly. I don't think it really matters which party they belong to. The really scary thing is, they are not the only group out there who is fed up with our government and is ready to take action, of whatever kind THEY feel necessary.

  • When they are right wing extremists AND left wing extremist

    the common thread is EXTREMIST...

They are "off"......That's just the way it is.

The reason they are labeled left or right is the cause they USE (**Their ecuse for breaking the law)..so anti abotionist who act crazy are labeled right wing based on the rights view on abortion...Peta would be considered left....

Its just a lable, they are all crazy

So what you trying to pin this group to Democrats now!   They were all ultra conservative" Christians" so I would call that right wing.. You all think of anyway to turn it around, too funny.   What, Democrats can't be ultra conservative "Christians"?  I'll pass that on to my Mamma and Grandmamma.
