  • Chicken Soft Tacos, Lettuce Wraps made with ground turkey, Grilled chicken salad mixed with brown rice, and a greek dressing, grilled turkey burgers, oven fries (better yet oven yam fries), I also like a lot of veggie soups like minestrone, navy bean soup, split pea soup, etc., two of my new favorites are babaganoush and hummus, both are very easy to make.

  • Homemade burritos/tacos. Our favorite meal. Brown 1 lb ground turkey (or beef), season with 1 packet lower-sodium taco seasoning. Add in one can fat free refried beans, a little lime zest, and cook til heated through. Serve on flour or corn tortillas or in taco shells with light sour cream, salsa, chopped lettuce, onion, tomato, and avocado (or of course whatever of these you like) and shredded cheddar cheese. A squeeze of fresh lime is nice too.
